Centenary News

The Centenary Dinner took place on Saturday 10th October. 85 present and former members met at the Scout Hall for a Champagne reception. Orders were given to form up in columns of 3 to be Piped to the Guide Centre by the Kilbarchan Pipe band. Once at the guide Centre we sat down to an excellent dinner washed down by copious amounts of fruit juice. A few words were spoken and it was time to return to the Scout Hall. Guests were able to renew old friendships whilst sampling a few light refreshments. Various displays of photographs and memorabilia were set out as a reminder of days gone by. Many thanks to all that attended for what was a most excellent night and we look forward to the next 100 years.

Centenary Polo Shirts and Hooded Tops have been made to commemorate this special year and are on sale priced at £6 and £12 respectively. Orders can be placed with any leader.
